Saturday Sports Medicine Walk-In Clinic
7:30am – 10:30am
August through May (excluding some Holiday weekends)
New West Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Surgery is excited to offer all of the area athletes’ access to our fellowship-trained sports medicine physicians at our Saturday Walk-In Orthopaedic Sports Medicine clinic. A fellowship-trained physician has completed an additional year of education and training in a specific specialty and means our physicians can provide the best care possible to the community. The Saturday Sports Medicine Walk-In Clinic runs from 7:30am – 10:30am on most Saturdays from August through May. Benefits of the Saturday Sports Medicine Walk-In Clinic include:
- Access to our Fellowship-Trained Sports Medicine physicians (Dr. Heber Crockett, Dr. Nolan May)
- Access to our Certified Orthopaedic Technologists to assist with any casting and bracing items that the physician orders
- Access to our diagnostic imaging equipment (x-ray and MRI), as needed by the physician
New West Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Surgery is a private-practice medical clinic. This means that certain services, like an MRI, can be performed at our office at a much lower cost to you than what a hospital-based facility offers. This is very important because many Saturday clinic services, regardless of where they are performed, cannot be pre-authorized through insurance and this means there is no guarantee that your insurance will cover the item. Ultimately, it is your choice if you’d like a service performed if your insurance has not approved it, but please know that we take pride in being affordable without sacrificing quality. We have knowledgeable staff available to assist you throughout this process as questions come up.
The New West Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Surgery Sports Medicine Team is here to keep you playing. Come see us! We’re the care that you deserve.
