Work Related Injuries
Our staff is trained to guide you through your Work Comp visit. In addition to the films and records requested for all patients, Work Comp patients are required to:
- Notify your employer of your on-the-job injury before calling for an appointment.
- You must file a First Report of Injury with your employer to be covered by the company's Work Comp insurance. If you haven't filed a First Report of Injury at the time you call for an appointment, you will be financially responsible for your medical care after any private health insurance has paid.
- You or your employer must provide the Work Comp insurance information at the time you schedule an appointment by calling (308) 865-2570 .
Your employer may require you to work with a case manager. Case managers are encouraged to be in contact with our Work Comp coordinator for necessary documentation, such as work release forms. The Work Comp Coordinator can be reached by phone at (308) 865-2570 .
If the Work Comp insurance carrier determines that you do not have an on-the-job injury, you will be responsible for your bill.
