Saturday Sports Medicine Clinic Hours

7:30am – 10:30am

During the local school’s athletic season, we hold a Saturday morning walk-in sports medicine clinic. This clinic begins at 7:30am and is on a first-come, first-serve basis. These clinics are held mid-August through early May, or roughly during the school year. We strive to accommodate your schedule whenever possible. Please be aware that emergencies and delays may happen.

What to Expect With Phone Calls:

Your phone call is answered by a New West Sports Medicine Patient Service Representative (PSR).  If you need to speak with a member of the business-office staff, you will be routed to that person.  If you need to speak to a member of the clinical staff (physician, physician assistant, or nurse), the PSR will take a message and get it to the appropriate person.  The clinical staff are, generally, not in a position to take immediate phone calls unless it is urgent. 

A clinical staff member will return your call as quickly as possible. Sometimes they must retrieve other information, test results, or orders from the doctor (test results or instructions from a physician or physician assistant) before they can return your call. If you call after 4:00pm, your call may be returned the following day.

Please note, we are unable to refill certain prescriptions by phone call.  Please allow advanced notice of at least 2 days for medication refills, so you do not run out before we can complete the refill request and the pharmacy can fulfill it.  Medication refills and changes are not done by the on-call physician.
